and self made season holidays. These are things that everyone
needs to know no matter what length of time they are going
for or how they are doing it. |

E111
This is a supplemental form that is used in conjunction
with Travel Insurance. Certain countries have an agreement
with the UK to provide medical care to its citizens
when out of the country. This can be obtained free of
charge from a Post Office and a copy must be enclosed
along with your booking.
Vaccinations
You must check with your local GP as to whether your
vaccinations/boosters are up to date and current with
the particular countries requirements. Entry to countries
can be denied if you are not current.
Medication
Make sure you have an ample supply of any medication
you may be currently taking. Such things as Insulin
and Birth Control may not be readily available.
Classic/Basic/Custom/Season Lets
If any of these packages include insurance or you add
your insurance on as an Extra, then a medical info form
must be completed. This is to let the insurance company
know about any pre-existing conditions and to help us
assist you better in the event of an emergency.

Equipment |
TOP |
The Equipment needed for a season is similar
to that for a week holiday:
There will be two things that strike you
as different about doing a season. The first is the
number of riders who wear helmets. This is because they
spend more time on a board so are more prone to 'eating
shit' occasionally. A rider that wears a lid, will live
to go big another day!
The second is the extremes in weather you
will see. You will need a neck gaiter, a nice thin hot
chillys is best as they don't itch. It is not windy
or cold all the time but some of the best powder days
can be had when all the week-long punters are wrapped
up at the hotel because the weathers shit, so you go
and hit the tree runs, freshies all day long....
take a look at www.snowboard-asylum.com
for all your kit needs.
