Sharp Basic Package, 2003/2004 Hey guys, how's things back in Bourg
? must be weird at the pink house with no-one there... I'm really missing the
place, cant get used to looking out my window and everything being flat!!! Its
kind of strange to be back home, taken me a couple of days to adjust back to English
life !I've been keeping in touch with everyone which is cool, we're all gonna
meet up at Milton Keynes a couple of weekends from now, should be wicked...Just
thought I'd say thanks again for such an awesome time and for being super cool,
I've been telling a couple of friends of mine how good it was and they've already
booked up with you for next season, told them they're in for a treat !!!

Horsely Classic Package, 2001/2002 Firstly thanks for everything,
we all had the time of our lives in France. It was so good that we are trying
to organise our next season already! Me, Tom, Ollie and Liam really want to head
to North America or Canada next year!Don't mean to be cheeky, but is there any
chance of a deal for the lovely, charming, returning seasoners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

10 euros. The best thing to do though is get the person you're ringing to ring
you back! Internet - There is ADSL

The nightlife in Bourg is growing yearly, with The Spot Bar being the
locals favorite, and who can blame them with 10% of all drinks for you all. There
are a number of nightclubs, though some can be pretty spooky. For those that
want non alchoel fueled activities there is plenty from cinemas, to bowling to
gyms to keep you busy. Oh and dont forget the Skate Park.. In the chalet there
is a mini ramp and a 14ft Trampoline for you to practice your tricks and flips
on. |

Les Arcs has masses of off-piste from the clinically insane to the
more mild and mellow. One thing they all have in common though is that they are
all well guarded and few of the locals like to divulge their stashes. Yes, some
have become more commonly known than others like Valley of the Kings and Heaven,
they are brilliant and stay fresh for a long time after a dump. BUT, A BIG BUT
please do not assume that this means they are safe. Full backcountry equipment
and transceivers are always recommended. Valley
of the Kings Is a lovely powder run that takes in every feature you
can imagine. You can drop in from a 10ft cornice into a steep untracked coulouir,
as your speed builds you get spat out into a huge half bowl about 800m wide. You
throw down your first powder turn of the year and charge of down the bowl. As
it starts to mellow it narrows and splits, you bear left towards the trees to
avoid the big cliff band to your right. As your back leg starts burning you reach
a flat section and you think that's it, then roller after roller hits you, boosting
of into the air. Then as the trees are about to run out you cut in and make a
line for the shed. With a corrugated roof you just fly over it and are airborne.
Just a few more tree turns to make and then, its back onto piste and a short ride
to the lift. All that for not even a 5 minute hike and you wondered
why Les Arcs is such a popular resort. Kickers
Everyone has heard of 69, and as a spot for building jumps it is one of the best.
You have all seen the photos of the Brits launching into space, well this is the
spot where they practice. Bottomless drifts of powder and perfect transitions
allow for memorable days. |

Here at Seasonaires we have aimed to make doing a season as easy
and as affordable as possible. The price you pay Seasonaires for your trip includes
all the main expenses that would be incurred by every individual doing a season.
After these have been paid for is where the budgeting and spending habits are
different for every person. This is an average breakdown for the season.
Not being extravagant, but not being tight. You can either spend more or less,
its up to you!

Care | TOP | Accident
Protocol We hope that nothing will happen and no one will
get sick but we would be silly not to prepare for an incident. It is comforting
to know that if anything was to happen a competent reliable person is going to
be there with all the relevant information and experience needed. All seasonaires
complete a medical information form and provide emergency contact numbers and
names. The Hospital Is
located in Bourg St Maurice and is quite renowned for not looking like much but
actually being a very well staffed specialist hospital. It has its own Helipad
and chopper for the ride down the mountain if needed. The staff are friendly and
the food is excellent which I can verify after spending a week there. Cost
As everyone will have full medical Insurance the only cost you might
incur will be if on discharge from the hospital if they prescribe medicine from
the pharmacy. Any medicine taken before you leave the hospital will be put on
the insurance bill. The prescriptions aren't to expensive and
most insurance policies have an excess and the cost of prescriptions being paid
for by yourself will be classed as the excess. How
to Pay Apart from what is prescribed to you, you will not
incur any more charges. We recommended to have your insurance card and always
carry it with you when riding. Upon admittance to the hospital just hand over
the card and that is that. Your host will be at hand with copies of all details
that may be needed and a friendly face to offer support. First
Aid Kits It is advisable to take your own first aid kit,
even though there will be one available. In your personal first aid kit you can
collect the contents that will be useful to yourself. The standard treat at home
requirements are : Plasters, Steri strips, Steri wipes, Arnica cream (you
will have bruises), lemsip, painkillers. A good first aid kit is available
from www.thesnowboardshop.co.uk,
this contains the basic tools and will need to be personalised with your own requirements.
